Quarterback Cam Ward played the best game of his career, his first-ever 300 yard showing. Head coach Robert Saleh and staff must reflect over the bye week on necessary changes, starting with the Jacksonville Jaguars game in Week 10.We’ve particularly identified three Titans players who need to be more involved following this weekend’s bye-week.TE Gunnar HelmOffensive coordinator Brian Daboll finally involved sophomore tight end Gunnar Helm in the passing attack in Week 8 and it paid dividends. Helm posted a career-high 76 receiving yards via five catches. Ward looked so comfortable targeting his reliable tight end. It was a sophomore breakout performance, and Daboll needs to ensure his momentum continues moving forward.WR Chimere DikeSpeaking of sophomore breakouts in the passing game, Chimere Dike enjoyed one of his own versus the Bengals. The speedy special teams ace reminded the coaching staff that he’s also very useful on offense. Dike recorded five receptions for a season-high 71 yards and a touchdown. Daboll needs to continue getting him snaps on offense, even at the expense of Wan’Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley.CB Alontae TaylorAfter benching Alontae Taylor in Week 5, his name has been mentioned in various trade-rumor articles. Trading him would be pretty complicated given they just signed him to a three-year, $58 million contract earlier this offseason. Anything is possible, but his contract isn’t exactly trade-friendly given its newness. Taylor played well at nickel corner against the Bengals after Marcus Harris got hurt. The Titans probably have to keep him in that position versus the Jaguars in Week 10.
