Ohio State sorely needs to get back into the win column after dropping its first Big Ten game and second overall game of the year at USC. Everything is still on the table if the Buckeyes can win out, but it won’t be easy, starting this week with a game against a talented Oregon roster inside the ‘Shoe. We’ve spun around and looked at some odds and a prediction for this game, looked at what ESPN says the percentage chances of winning are, and even doubled down on ESPN data by checking in to see what the analytics say the final score will be.On top of all of that, we ask our writers every week what they think will happen with the game by having each predict the final score and a short description of what will happen, and we have a bit of a mixed bag in this one. He knows what’s at stake. The players know what’s at stake, and the fans certainly know what’s at stake. So can he lead this group to a much-needed win? The way to do it, while certainly dictated by the play of Luke Fahey, will likely be around a complementary style of football. It’s clear that this group needs to play well on offense, defense, and special teams. There hasn’t been a game this year when all three were firing on all cylinders, or at least playing at an above-average level. Unfortunately, I’m not sure this group h
