The Under Armour Next Camp will close its 2026 circuit on the 4th of July in Maui, marking the fifth consecutive year the tour finishes in Hawaii. Held on the campus of King Kekaulike High School, nearly 500 players from across the nation will travel to Maui for the event. While Hawaii will provide the majority of the campers, recruits from the mainland will also be in attendance. The camp will showcase top talent from the 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 classes, including the premier prospects on both sides of the ball for the 2027 and 2028 groups in the state.
Leading the group are Hawaii’s No. 1 recruits for 2027 and 2028: Mililani linebacker Toa Satele and Mililani defensive lineman Trison Satele. Toa Satele is committed to Oregon and earned an invitation to the Under Armour All-America Game last year. Trison Satele holds offers from across the country and is widely regarded as Hawaii’s top 2028 prospect. Also on defense from the 2027 class is Makawao (Kamehameha) product Frank Kapohai Abreu, committed to Montana.
The 2028 defensive group is particularly strong, featuring Kap’aa-based defensive lineman King Pitts, a Rivals300 prospect, along with Trison Satele. Additional 2028 defensive linemen making waves this offseason include Kala’i Nihipali of Mililani, who was the DL MVP at the Las Vegas Showcase, and Lennox Chee of Honolulu (Kamehameha), the DL MVP at the Avery Strong Showcase. Rounding out the 2028 defensive front is Tua Tafiti of Punahou (Honolulu) and incoming freshman Tayden Satele, who will join his two older brothers at Mililani and is already a 2030 prospect with Power 4 offers.
In the linebacker group, standout Siale Reid of Kahuku and Tau Purcell of Kamehameha (Honolulu) will headline, with 2029 prospect Tydes Alualu from North Allegheny (Wexford, Pennsylvania) also expected. From the secondary, Punahou’s 2029 safety Kanoa Kameehonua has already accrued multiple offers.
On the offensive side, the quarterbacks feature two 2027 commits from outside Hawaii: Matthew Smith from Santa Margarita (California), who is committed to Vanderbilt, and Brayden Tuiasosopo from Manvel (Texas), committed to Army. Hawaii’s top quarterback for the class will be Mililani’s Hunter Fujikawa, a 2028 signal-caller who is among the most sought-after passers in the 2028 cycle. The rising 2029 quarterback Loea Keopuhiwa from Kamāhameha (Honolulu) will also be on hand. For 2027’s top offensive recruit in-state, Mililani’s four-star Zion White will be in attendance. White, who previously spent last season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is back in Hawaii for his senior year and participated in the Under Armour All-America Game in January. Another Bay Area-bound player set to attend is Mission Viejo, California wide receiver Jack Junker, who has been highlighted for his strong recruiting profile.
