The College Sports Commission has published its latest NIL Data Report, outlining the figures behind Name, Image, and Likeness deals being processed nationwide. Since June 2025, when the CSC began using its third-party platform NIL Go as a clearinghouse, the system has evaluated deals to determine whether they meet the standards for validity and approval for payment. Since its launch, NIL Go has cleared a total of $355.24 million across 34,195 NIL deals, while 1,812 deals valued at $89.85 million were not cleared.
The data indicate that 41% of submitted deals were resolved within 24 hours, with NIL Go handling roughly 90 deals per day. The period from May 1 through June 30 of this year showed a notable spike in NIL deal submissions for clearance. In that 60-day window, 8,298 deals were submitted, and 7,639 of them, or nearly 89%, were cleared, amounting to $112.89 million. Conversely, 659 deals worth $33.68 million were not cleared in that timeframe.
Looking at the typical resolution timeline, NIL deals reach a final decision within a week of submission 63% of the time. For the remaining 37% of deals, the CSC is pursuing additional information by contacting the student-athlete, deal sponsor, or institution via channels outside of the NIL Go platform to make a determination.
The NIL Go platform currently lists 41,183 registered student-athletes, which accounts for about 20% of the more than 190,000 total Division I student-athletes. The platform also reports 5,858 registered representatives and 1,354 registered users at institution schools.
This article originally appeared on Palm Beach Post, noting that more than $350 million in NIL deals have been approved since the clearinghouse’s launch, a figure that signals the growing scale and impact of NIL processing on college athletics.
