Inter Make Quick Moves To Sign €30m Everton Target: Should The Toffees Press For Him?

By admin — In News — July 8, 2026

Inter Milan has already moved to secure their target. The Italian champions have lodged an official bid for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise wing-back Anan Khalaili, aiming to quickly fill the gap left by Denzel Dumfries after his high-profile move to Real Madrid. According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, echoed by Sport Witness, the Nerazzurri are acting with speed and intent. They want this deal wrapped up promptly. While Inter feel confident about finalizing the transfer, names such as Aston Villa and Everton have recently entered the discussion.
It has the hallmarks of a familiar transfer-market tactic. Union SG is believed to be inviting a bidding war to push the price toward the €30 million threshold, or perhaps the player’s representatives are stirring English interest to secure a better deal in Milan. Either way, Inter is not rattled by Premier League rumors. Goodison Park seems distant from this pursuit.

The 21-year-old winger had an exceedingly busy 2025/26 season in Belgium, tallying six goals and six assists across 52 appearances. He possesses exceptional pace, an enormous work rate, and the ability to control the entire right flank on his own. With 16 senior international caps for Israel, he is not short on experience.
But €30 million? For Everton, that represents a substantial gamble on a raw talent at a time when the squad has more pressing, proven needs to address in the Premier League. David Moyes is seeking reliable, battle-tested players rather than an expensive project. Committing a large portion of a tight summer budget to a player who has clearly indicated a preference for a five-year deal at the San Siro appears like poor business judgment. The Merseysiders should focus their funds on established domestic talent instead of chasing a supposed auction that would pull them into a bidding war. Pursuing a player who already eyes silverware in Italy makes little sense for a club eager to strengthen immediately and practically.
