   ​Baseball’s brightest young talent will take center stage, along with a fresh, entertaining contest, during All-Star Sunday at Citizens Bank Park. The All-Star Futures Game showcases baseball’s top prospects in a seven-inning exhibition, featuring some of Minor League Baseball’s best promotions, mascots, and high-energy entertainment that help set an electric, festival-like atmosphere. After the futures showcase, MLBx All-Star 3-on-3 will take the spotlight, replacing the traditional celebrity softball game with a fast-paced, skillful three-on-three format.
Here’s everything you need to know about All-Star Sunday. The event begins at noon at Citizens Bank Park and will be broadcast on NBC. For streaming, fans can tune in via Peacock. The broadcast team includes Melanie Newman handling play-by-play duties, with Yonder Alonso and Sam Dykstra serving as analysts, and Sande Charles reporting from the field. Tickets for All-Star Sunday—covering both the Futures Game and MLBx All-Star 3-on-3—are available through mlb.com and range from $33 to $187.50.
The day’s lineup features an array of talented players across several positions. On the mound, notable pitchers include Kade Anderson from the Arkansas Travelers (Double-A) in the Seattle Mariners organization; Jamie Arnold of the Midland RockHounds (Double-A) within the Athletics system; Tyler Bremner of the Tri-City Dust Devils (High-A) affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels; Kendry Chourio of the Quad City River Bandits (High-A) in the Kansas City Royals pipeline; Joseph Dzierwa from the Chesapeake Baysox (Double-A) under the Baltimore Orioles; Anthony Eyanson of the Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A) in the Boston Red Sox organization; Carlos Lagrange from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A) in the New York Yankees system; Nolan Perry of the Vancouver Canadians (High-A) part of the Toronto Blue Jays; Caden Scarborough of the Hub City Spartanburgers (High-A) within the Texas Rangers organization; and Ryan Sloan from the Arkansas Travelers (Double-A) in the Mariners setup. In catching, the event features Nathan Flewelling of the Bowling Green Hot Rods (High-A) in the Tampa Bay Rays system, and Blake Mitchell of the Quad City River Bandits (High-A) aligned with the Kansas City Royals.
Infielders slated to participate include Franklin Arias from the Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A) in the Red Sox organization; Leo De Vries of the Midland RockHounds (Double-A) in the Athletics system; Xavier Neyens from the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Single-A) in the Houston Astros organization; Jojo Parker of the Dunedin Blue Jays (Single-A) within the Toronto Blue Jays system; and Ralphy Velazquez of the Columbus Clippers (Triple-A) connected to the Cleveland Guardians. The outfield will feature Kevin Alvarez from the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Single-A) in the Astros organization; Theo Gillen of the Bowling Green Hot Rods (High-A) in the Rays’ organization; Ike Irish of the Frederick Keys (High-A) tied to the Baltimore Orioles; Walker Jenkins of the St. Paul Saints (Triple-A) within the Minnesota Twins organization; and Nelson Rada of the Salt Lake Bees (Triple-A) in the Los Angeles Angels system.
The event will also include a dedicated coaching staff. Managed by Larry Bowa, the Futures Game staff includes bench coach Juan Samuel, pitching coach Billy Wagner, bullpen coach Matt Ellmyer, third base coach James Cooper, and first base coach Michael Bourn, along with athletic trainer Manny Lopez and strength and conditioning coach Mike Lidge.
Beyond the on-field action, the Futures Game will highlight a strong slate of young talents from across the minors, with several players projected to be impact contributors in the major leagues in coming seasons. The inclusion of a robust pitching rotation, plus a diverse group of infielders, catchers, and outfielders, underscores the depth of talent currently developing in the farm systems of MLB teams.
Additional pitchers set to take the field during the event include Liam Doyle of the Springfield Cardinals (Double-A) in the St. Louis Cardinals organization; Seth Hernandez of the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Class A) in the Pittsburgh Pirates system; Kash Mayfield from the Fort Wayne TinCaps (High-A) in the San Diego Padres organization; Karson Milbrandt of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A) in the Miami Marlins system; Mason McGwire of the South Bend Cubs (High-A) aligned with the Chicago Cubs; Wen-Hui Pan of the Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A) in the Philadelphia Phillies organization; and Gage Wood, another notable attendee whose participation will be announced ahead of the event.
