​Star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has been training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the lead-up to the Denver Broncos’ training camp in Englewood, Colorado, later this month. This summer, Tevin Allen and Tyrie Allen of Gold Feet Global have been putting a group of NFL receivers through their paces, including Ja’Marr Chase, Zay Flowers, Jerry Jeudy, Elijah Moore, Odell Beckham Jr., and Waddle.
Gold Feet Global shared several snapshots from their Instagram page, offering a glimpse into the workouts. In addition, there’s footage of Waddle and Chase running routes, highlighting the dynamic pair’s chemistry and precision on the field. Joshua Cox, a South Florida content creator, posted a clip showing Waddle delivering a perfect pass to hit the crossbar from a field-goal distance. “QB1 @jaylenwaddle is in mid-season form … Hashtag More Than A Receiver 😂,” Cox captioned the video.
With an arm like his, there’s speculation that Denver could incorporate a trick play into its summer playbook, leveraging Waddle’s throwing ability. Notably, Waddle already notched his first career pass completion last season with the Miami Dolphins, an eight-yard throw. Broncos fans will be watching to see if he adds to his passing résumé in Denver this fall.
