SK Sturm Graz have borrowed Hungarian international Brigitta Pulins to bolster the attack and inject fresh momentum, leveraging her goal threat and experience. Pulins, who was born in Toronto, is a versatile attacking player with dual Canadian and Hungarian citizenship. She has accumulated international experience across Hungary’s senior and youth national teams, adding a seasoned presence to the squad.
During the 2025/26 season with SCR Altach, Pulins scored 12 goals and contributed three assists across 14 Bundesliga appearances. She moved to Grasshopper Club Zürich during the winter window, and now arrives at Sturm Graz on loan. Her pace, finishing prowess, and instinct for scoring are expected to enhance the team’s attacking options and provide a new dimension in the forward line.
Pulins is eager for the new challenge and spoke about her excitement: “I am very grateful for this opportunity and incredibly excited to be playing for SK Sturm in the future. My first few days at the club have been very positive. I received a warm welcome from the team and the entire staff. I can’t wait to work hard together, develop further, and give everything to make the club as successful as possible.”
Michael Erlitz, Women’s Football Sporting Director, highlighted Pulins’s proven qualities in the Austrian Bundesliga, noting that she led the scoring charts up to the winter break and possesses an exceptional nose for goal. “With Brigitta Pulins, we’ve recruited a striker who has already demonstrated her capability at a high level,” he said. “I’m especially pleased that we were able to secure her on a one-year loan from Zurich after her time there. Her finishing ability and overall quality will immediately strengthen our striker position and add a critical dimension to our attacking play.”
The signing sits alongside other notable developments in the ÖFB-Frauen Bundesliga, including SC Freiburg goalkeeper Sarah-Lisa Dübel joining Sturm Graz, and a broader wave of new signings as LASK and other clubs bolster their squads ahead of the 2026/27 season. As the club continues to reinforce its attacking options, Pulins’s arrival is expected to bring immediate impact and long-term value, aligning with Sturm Graz’s ambition to compete at the highest level and push for continued success in women’s football.
