The NBA world is descending on Las Vegas for the annual Summer League which began last week and will run through this weekend.For some former Duke Blue Devils players, this is the first step in their rookie season, giving them a chance to showcase their skillset to their new coaches. After three Blue Devils were drafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, they are now on to the next steps in their career.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementBut they will always be a part of the Duke Brotherhood that stands strong year after year.The Brotherhood has been a motto for Duke for years now, showcasing that once a Blue Devil, you’re in that brotherhood that has been formed. Now, in Las Vegas, multiple former Duke players were able to get together for a dinner.Among the Blue Devils that are in Vegas are Jayson Tatum, Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Kyrie Irving, Jon Scheyer, Mark Williams, Amile Jefferson, Paolo Banchero, Trevor Keels, Dereck Lively, and Grayson Allen.Take a look at the photo that the group took:Here is what Tatum said about being able to get together:AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement”This is incredible,” said Tatum.”To have a space in an event like this where you know guys that played with, came after you, played way before you—we all are bonded by, you know, this amazing program, and it’s just cool to like see guys we haven’t seen in a while.”Tatum also went on to say how Duke’s Brotherhood is different than any other program out there. The Blue Devils have 25 current alumni in the NBA, a strong number including a lot of lottery picks.They also have the reigning NBA Rookie of the Year in Flagg as well as the runner-up in Knueppel, who had big seasons.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe more players Duke can send to the NBA, the better as it will help future recruits get a sense of how the Blue Devils can help them achieve their dreams.
