You’ve got to stay strong mentally, you’ve got to stay strong physically. [You] can’t quit, can’t give up.”Underwood was also asked what comes to mind about the first game he played against Ohio State.”I lost,” Underwood said. “That’s all it is.”The Buckeyes beat Michigan 27-9 in 2025. In his first rivalry appearance, Underwood completed 8 of 18 passes for 63 yards and one interception. His completion and passing yards total against the Buckeyes were the lowest of the 2025 season.Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin threw for 233 yards with three passing touchdowns and one interception.Underwood and Sayin are poised to have a rematch on Nov. 28, when Ohio State hosts Michigan in Ohio Stadium.
