​The Utah Jazz have announced their Emirates NBA Cup Night schedule for 2026 via X on Wednesday morning. The full regular-season schedules for every NBA team are being released on Thursday at 3 p.m. ET; fans get to enjoy a piece of the pie.For the second consecutive season, the Jazz are joined by the Phoenix Suns, with the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks newly joining the West Group A.the road to Hinkle Fieldhouse starts here 🛣️Utah Jazz Cup Nights presented by @SeatGeekpic.twitter.com/qwZytz9678— Utah Jazz (@utahjazz) August 12, 2026Last season, Utah went 1-3 in group stage play with a -85 point differential.The Jazz will sit out the tournament’s opening night on Oct. 30, when Denver goes on the road against Phoenix and Houston hosts Dallas before Utah’s first group stage game begins the next week.Utah plays its first two Cup games on the road, at Dallas and at Houston, hosting Phoenix and Denver the last two weeks. Utah’s Cup games commence each Friday in November. If Utah splits the first two road games, the Jazz have a real shot to grab two in front of their home fans as the race tightens.Phoenix and Utah have met in Cup play in recent years. This year’s game lands on Nov. 20, a date that falls at the heart of group stage seeding. The closer against Denver on Nov. 27 could end up mattering even more. Denver has been a Western Conference powerhouse the last half-decade. That closing game, mixed in with the point-differential tiebreaker, sets up Utah for an upset that can be an eye-opener in the league.Each of the NBA’s six five-team groups sends its top-seeded finisher to the knockout round, joined by a “wild-card” team from each conference based on record and point differential.The knockout stage begins on Dec. 4 with the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals on Dec. 8 or 9. For the first time in Cup history, the championship game will be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Dec. 11, moving away from Las Vegas, which hosted the championship game the first three years of the tournament.Last season’s Cup ended with the New York Knicks defeating the San Antonio Spurs, a matchup that previewed the NBA Finals. Utah will need to navigate a Devin Booker-led Suns, a Kevin Durant-led Rockets, a Nikola Jokić-led Nuggets, a recent Rookie of the Year winner, Cooper Flagg and a Mavericks squad en route to a trip to the knockout stage.Whether this Utah core produces wins remains to be seen, but they know now who and when stands between them and a shot of going to Indianapolis.
