The offensive line is one of the most important position groups on an NFL roster. Most of the attention goes to the tackles, but the interior guys, especially centers, don’t get their flowers very often. Centers are the anchor of the offensive line, often calling out pressures and making adjustments with the quarterback. Luckily for the Cleveland Browns, they have a good center, but maybe not according to PFF. Mason Cameron of PFF went through and ranked all 32 starting centers in the NFL, and he listed Elgton Jenkins at number 18, just ahead of Jalen Sundell (Seattle) and just behind Ethan Pocic (Baltimore):After seven seasons in Green Bay, Jenkins will be wearing new colors in 2026. A season-ending lower leg fracture in November cut short what was an uncharacteristically down season for the veteran. Still, Jenkins enters the year with a proven track record as a pass-blocker, having posted a 72.0-plus PFF pass-blocking grade in six of his seven NFL seasons. Jenkins enjoyed seven successful seasons in Green Bay before signing with Cleveland this offseason. With Pocic’s departure, Jenkins will slide seamlessly into the starting role, bringing playoff experience to a group that desperately needs it.This article originally appeared on Browns Wire: PFF discusses Browns’ Elgton Jenkins potential with new team
