The Patriots could get A.J. Brown back soon, but they’ll be without wide receiver Mack Hollins for at least the next four games. Hollins was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to the calf injury he suffered in the second half of last Sunday’s win over the Bills. He was ruled out for this weekend’s game against the Raiders on Friday. Romeo Doubs, Efton Chism, Pop Douglas, and Kyle Williams are the remaining wideouts on the 53-man roster. Brown could be activated as soon as Week 6 as the Raiders game will be the fourth he misses with an ankle injury. The Patriots also placed fullback Reggie Gilliam (ankle, knee) on injured reserve. Special teamer Brenden Schooler was activated from the non-football injury list and cornerback Kindle Vildor was signed off the practice squad to fill the openings on the 53-man roster. The Patriots elevated linebacker K.J. Britt and safety Elliott Davison from the practice squad to round out the day’s moves.
