In fact, the Patriots seem more than content being the underdog and going out there to do what’s needed on both sides of the ball.Mike Vrabel isn’t a guy who’s going to ask for praise; Drake Maye flies under the radar and just competes every single down, and this is ultimately an organization that everybody should know and respect at this point. If people want to continue doubting the Patriots, then so be it.That’s why it’s not too surprising to hear the latest comments from Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. Breer recently spoke about the Patriots after their joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts, saying Indianapolis was extremely impressed with what the Patriots did offensively.”So it’s interesting, I talked to Colts people after, and they were blown away by the skill,” Breer said, via NBC Sports Boston. “If you think about where they were two years ago in that department, I don’t know that there were very many teams that were worse. I had Indianapolis Colts people saying to me, ‘Their skill, they’re near the top of the league with that group now.'”The Patriots’ offense still has some work to do because of all the new faces in it, especially with AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs. This level of respect so early is a promising sign that things will go well. That practice was the first of their joint practices, as the Patriots practiced with the Philadelphia Eagles this past week, but these comments are new from Breer and should get fans excited.More PatriotsLatest Patriots newsTom Brady’s Patriots legacy: How legendary QB set new standardComplete history of Patriots championships
