Boade’s contract was set to run through the 2026 NWSL season.Boade departs Bay FC after playing a key role in the club’s first three seasons. After being selected in the expansion draft ahead of the 2024 season, Boade made 47 regular season appearances and captained the club in 2025.“Tess has been an important part of Bay FC and an inaugural player during our expansion era and we’re grateful for her contributions. We wish Tess every success in the next chapter of her career,” said head coach Emma Coates. Boade contributed three goals and two assists to the club across her time in the Bay, including the assist on Bay FC’s first goal in club history.“Across my three seasons with Bay FC, I have made some amazing memories and crossed paths with some special people,” said Boade. “I will always remember our incredible inaugural season, making history together and our exciting playoff run. Thank you to the fans for your unwavering support through all the highs and lows. I’m excited for what comes next, but the Bay Area will always have a special place in my heart.”
