Here’s how the schedule shapes up from 2028 through 2031. CFP Quarterfinals are set for Saturday, December 30, 2028, at the Capital One Orange Bowl, followed by Monday, January 1, 2029, at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, along with the Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential and the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The CFP Semifinals for that season are scheduled for Thursday, January 11, 2029, at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and Friday, January 12, 2029, at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
Looking ahead to 2030, the CFP Quarterfinals will occur Tuesday, January 1, at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, the Capital One Orange Bowl, and the Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential, with additional games on Wednesday, January 2, 2030, at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl. The CFP Semifinals are planned for Thursday, January 10, 2030, at the Allstate Sugar Bowl, and Friday, January 11, 2030, at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.
For 2031, the CFP Quarterfinals are scheduled for Tuesday, December 31, 2030, at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, with Wednesday, January 1, 2031, at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, and the Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential. The CFP Semifinals will take place Thursday, January 9, 2031, at the Capital One Orange Bowl and Friday, January 10, 2031, at the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
Continuing into 2031 and beyond, the CFP Quarterfinals are set for Wednesday, December 31, 2031, at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, with Thursday, January 1, 2032, hosting the Capital One Orange Bowl, the Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential, and the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The CFP Semifinals will be held Thursday, January 8, 2032, at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and Friday, January 9, 2032, at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
The CFP Championship games through the 2029 season have already been announced and will be held at the following venues: for the 2026 season, January 25, 2027, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada; for the 2027 season, January 24, 2028, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana; and for the 2028 season, January 22, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. For the 2029 season, January 21, 2030, the championship will be at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
