​The Indianapolis Colts landed just outside the NFL’s top 10 in a new ranking of skill-position groups.FOX Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano ranked the Colts No. 11 among all 32 teams Monday, pointing to running back Jonathan Taylor, tight end Tyler Warren and wide receiver Alec Pierce as the strength of the group.”It’s hard to find a better RB than Jonathan Taylor. FOX Sports wrote that the Colts “don’t go deeper than” Pierce and Downs at receiver, despite the Colts signing six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen on Aug. 19.Allen gives Indianapolis an esteemed target after the offseason trade of Michael Pittman Jr. to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 34-year-old caught 81 passes for 777 yards and four touchdowns with the Los Angeles Chargers last season.It’s an addition that could make the Colts’ No. 11 placement look conservative if Allen transitions smoothly into Shane Steichen’s offense.Taylor is the crux of the backfield, while Warren emerged as a difference-maker as a rookie.
