​Martina Voss-Tecklenburg will return as a coach for the first time since leaving the Germany job three years ago when she takes over at FC Zurich’s women’s side in October.The 58-year-old has signed a two-year contract, the Swiss club said in a statement on Sunday. The German previously worked as Switzerland coach between 2012 and 2018.”I said I will only do something when I feel like it, where I feel it suits me,” she said. “Me having a connection to Switzerland is no secret.”Voss-Tecklenburg was in charge when the German women were eliminated in the World Cup group stage for the first time in 2023. Media reports were rife about unhappiness in the camp.She then took a leave of absence due to illness and parted company with Germany in November that year.
