​It is cutdown day in the National Football League, and teams needed to get their rosters down to 53 players ahead of the 6 p.m. deadline on Sunday. For the Seattle Seahawks, their roster cuts came with some good news for one former Spartan, but some bad news for another former Spartan.While Montorie Foster Jr. made the roster, it meant that former MSU wide receiver Cody White was edged out of a roster spot, and subsequently was released by the Seahawks. After going undrafted in 2021, White got his NFL career started with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he played 16 games over two seasons. Most recently, White was featured in 14 games with the Seahawks over the last two seasons.
