I still have not.”From 2021 to 2024, Eason was the director of soccer at DME Academy, an educational institute and private sports training facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. I realized at that point he wasn’t going to be a college player. It was kind of shocking to be able to hear myself say this 15-year-old kid is beyond college.”As it turned out, even that would wildly undersell the potential this kid had. Fresh off a starring role for his national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Diomande is reportedly on the verge of becoming a $153.8 million Real Madrid player.”I knew he was higher than any level I could present to him,” Eason said. “And then as he goes to Spain and whatnot, I just started watching his games. I’m like, ‘this still isn’t a level that’s going to challenge him.’ I still have not [seen one], even at RB Leipzig.”I was like, ‘he’s the best player on the field at age 18. This is… this is just stupid.'”‘There was something different.
