​The Jacksonville Jaguars revealed their latest alternate uniforms on Tuesday, August 25, to much fanfare. This marks the second wave of the Nike/NFL Rivalries campaign, following a hugely successful launch last year for the entirety of the AFC East and NFC West. This time around, the spotlight shifts to the AFC South and NFC North, and the Jaguars may have just stolen the show when it comes to their division.Prepare yourself for a new look hitting the field at EverBank Stadium in Week 8. This is also the first uniform to carry a new script “Jaguars” wordmark at the yoke. Pay close attention to the back of the collar, where “Bold City” and “Since ’95” are stitched into the neckline — a quiet nod to the city and the franchise’s roots, worn right at the nape of the neck. On the sleeve, the team opted for a muted take on the modern Jaguars logo, though many fans were hoping for the old-school throwback mark instead. Nike went Matte Meets Gloss on the numbering, playing matte against gloss to add depth and turn up the volume on DUUUVAL. And the boldest swing of all sits inside the numbers themselves — a black jaguar print pattern trimmed in teal. The pants are also in that black jaguar print design with a teal stripe. It’s Loud & Proud by design, echoing the ferocity teased in the team’s tattoo-shop preview and bringing real cultural flourish to Bold City football.After early rumors pointed toward more of a beach-themed direction, this one lands as a pleasant surprise — a look that actually feels like Jacksonville and Bold City. The jerseys will be available for purchase online very soon: Game jerseys will be $160, and Limited jerseys will be $225 at Fanatics.Like any uniform release, there will be fans who don’t like them, but all in all, I think these will go over well.
