In a historic celebration marking Ducati’s 100th Anniversary, MotoAmerica Supersport racer Kayla Yaakov took part in Ducati’s exclusive MotoGP Experience at the Misano World Circuit following World Ducati Week 2026. Yaakov made history by becoming the first woman to ride a Ducati MotoGP motorcycle, clocking laps on Marc Márquez’s Ducati Lenovo Team Desmosedici GP26 as well as Nicolò Bulega’s Aruba.it Racing Panigale V4 R WorldSBK bike. Guided by racing legends Casey Stoner and Michele Pirro, the rising American talent realized a long-held dream while highlighting Ducati’s storied racing heritage and commitment to rider development.
Ducati North America proudly celebrates Yaakov’s participation in the MotoGP Experience after World Ducati Week 2026, a gathering that drew Ducatisti from around the world to the Misano World Circuit for the 100th Anniversary celebration of the brand. During the experience, Yaakov rode Márquez’s Desmosedici GP26 from the Ducati Lenovo Team and Bulega’s Panigale V4 R from Aruba.it Racing, becoming the first woman to ride a Ducati MotoGP motorcycle.
World Ducati Week brought together Ducati riders, employees, dealers, and enthusiasts from across the globe for the largest gathering of Ducatisti. The 2026 edition held at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli carried extra significance as it celebrated a century of Ducati. The event featured racing legends, current MotoGP and WorldSBK riders, track activities, and exclusive experiences that showcased Ducati’s racing heritage and relentless pursuit of performance.
Following the conclusion of World Ducati Week, Yaakov stayed in Misano to participate in Ducati’s exclusive MotoGP Experience. Hosted by the Ducati Lenovo Team and DRE Academy, this two-day program offered a select group of Ducatisti the chance to experience the pinnacle of motorcycle racing on the Desmosedici GP26—the same machine that competes in the MotoGP World Championship. As part of the experience, Yaakov received coaching and guidance from Casey Stoner, a two-time MotoGP World Champion, and Michele Pirro, Ducati Corse MotoGP Test Rider.
In addition to riding Márquez’s Desmosedici GP26, Yaakov also completed laps aboard Nicolò Bulega’s Ducati Panigale V4 R WorldSBK motorcycle, giving her a rare opportunity to experience two of Ducati’s most advanced racing models on one of Italy’s most iconic circuits.
Yaakov, already one of America’s fastest young road-racing talents, has quickly established herself as a front-runner in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship aboard her Rahal Ducati Moto Panigale V2. Her participation in the MotoGP Experience underscores Ducati’s ongoing commitment to developing riders and investing in the next generation of champions.
