It’s the 41st time the league will feature games on the federal holiday, which honors the slain civil rights leader.The day starts with two Eastern Conference contenders, the Detroit Pistons visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland bounced the top-seeded Pistons from the playoffs in the second round last season. King’s birthplace of Atlanta, Georgia, hosts the next matchup of the day, with the Hawks playing the new-look Philadelphia 76ers.
