I remember all the experiences I’ve had, but I haven’t had any tragedies.”Opening up further about his managerial career, he said things haven’t been as bad as many make it out to be.“I don’t think I’m a runaway; you have to look at the win percentages. Then we live in a sport where incidents condemn you; I lost a Champions League by a point against Milan and Napoli; what happened with the national team happened; at Hajduk I lost the championship on the last day against a team of young players that hasn’t won in twenty years. Then, if you want to ride the wave, I’m up for it, but I do this job with fire inside.”The Lazio boss also opened up about how he has changed as a manager because of his experiences.“I strongly believe in what I have in my head; I’ve made changes in recent years because at the beginning I would go home and be always nervous; now it’s up to me to give my best with the players.
