Lendeborg and Warriors defeat Mara and Thunder during NBA Summer League

   ​Following their first victory in Las Vegas on Thursday, Golden State squared off against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, giving Yaxel Lendeborg another opportunity to face a former Michigan teammate, Aday Mara, after previously competing against the Mavericks and Morez Johnson Jr. The Warriors dominated the Thunder, outpacing them in every quarter and cruising to a 104-79 win. Lendeborg was among three Golden State players to reach 14 points, contributing four assists, three steals, and two rebounds as well. Graham Ike stood out from the starting five, finishing with 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and no turnovers.
The bench continued its solid play, producing four players in double digits. Nick Boyd contributed 14 points, along with two rebounds and one steal, while Lachlan Olbrich added another 14 points, four rebounds, one assist, and three steals. With this strong all-around effort, Golden State improved to 2-0 to start the summer league.
Looking ahead, the team will enjoy Monday off before returning to action on Tuesday to face the Memphis Grizzlies, led by the recent No. 3 overall pick Cameron Boozer.
