Lions injury update: Kerby Joseph returning to practice

By admin — In News — October 28, 2026

Dan Campbell shared a Wednesday update that has been more than a year in the making. Detroit Lions All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph is making his return to practice this week.”We’re going to start Kerby’s clock today, so he’ll be running around, (we’ll) start working him in. He’s put in a lot of work. This has been a long, hard road for Kerby. So, just to be able to get back out there with the guys and run around a little bit. This will be a (big step). We’ll kind of progress him as we go each week here just to get him back in the flow of football. The movement, the pounding, the all of it.”But, he’s passed every test to this point. This is the next thing is to get him running around now, so the strength in the knee is good, and the thigh, the quad, all of that. So, it’ll be great to get him back out there with the guys. I know he’s excited. We are, but we’ve still got a ways to go. This is a step in the right direction,” Campbell said.At long last, Dan Campbell announces that Kerby Joseph is returning to Lions practice today: pic.twitter.com/6DSgofXdWI— The Lions Wire (@thelionswire) October 28, 2026Joseph last played in an NFL game on Oct. 12, 2025, against the Kansas City Chiefs. For more Lions coverage, follow us on X, @TheLionsWire, and give our Facebook page a like. Follow Josh on X, @JoshOnLionsThis article originally appeared on Lions Wire: Lions injury update: Kerby Joseph returning to practice
