​Marmoush joins Spurs on loanOmar Marmoush has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan.The Egyptian moved to the Etihad Stadium from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 and has gone on to play 62 times for City, scoring 16 goals.The 27-year-old played a key role in helping City secure Champions League qualification at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.He opened his account for the club in memorable fashion with a hat-trick against Newcastle United in February 2025.Further strikes followed against Brighton, Leicester and Crystal Palace before he netted our Goal of the Season in our penultimate game of the campaign, lashing home from 30 yards to open the scoring against Bournemouth.By the end of the 2024/25 season, he’d scored eight goals in 25 appearances.A further 36 games and eight goals followed last term including braces in both the FA Cup and League Cup encounters with Newcastle.The No.7 started May’s FA Cup final victory over Chelsea alongside Erling Haaland as we completed a domestic cup double.After a second-half substitute appearance in this month’s Community Shield under new boss Enzo Maresca, Marmoush will now join former team-mate Savinho in north London.Everyone at City would like to wish Omar good luck with his loan switch to Spurs.
