​Martinsville High School released a statement Saturday that a football player who was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital on Friday night after being injured during a scrimmage is resting comfortably at home.The player was injured during Martinsville’s annual Red-Blue intrasquad game on Friday night and transported for medical attention under the care of the IU Health Lifeline team.The school is not identifying the player.Posts by MSDMartinsvilleThe statement from the Martinsville School District: “Thank you to the Martinsville High School leadership team, staff and coaches, MSD of Martinsville Police, City of Martinsville Police, Morgan County Emergency Management, Martinsville Fire Department, Morgan County 911 Center, and Martinsville High School student-athletes for their quick and appropriate response to this incident.
