The Milwaukee Brewers had an historic season, winning the World Series for the first time in franchise history. For a large majority of the regular season, they were by far the best team in baseball. Milwaukee finished the year 103-59 and then went 11-2 in the postseason. For much of 2026, the knock against the Brewers was that they did not hit very many home runs. Indeed, they ended the season tied for second-to-last in all of baseball with 154, two more than the Toronto Blue Jays. Then they went on to lead MLB in postseason home runs with 13 in 13 games.Despite their lack of regular season power, Milwaukee led baseball in multiple offensive categories. As a result, multiple players, and the team itself, has been named finalists for Silver Slugger Awards.2026 Milwaukee Brewers Silver Slugger FinalistsOct 26, 2026; St. Petersburg, Florida, USA; Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio (11) runs after hitting a single against the Tampa Bay Rays during the fifth inning in game three of the 2026 World Series at Tropicana Field.
