Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri looking to snatch Adrien Rabiot from AC Milan

By admin — In News — July 12, 2026

Under contract with AC Milan until 2028, Adrien Rabiot (31) is reportedly attracting the interest of SSC Napoli, with particular attention from their new coach Massimiliano Allegri, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Allegri, who already knows and has coached the French midfielder at Juventus and later at Milan, would be eager to rekindle their working relationship and bring Rabiot back into his tactical setup.
The move, however, appears unlikely at first glance. Rabiot is widely viewed as a central figure in Ruben Amorim’s squad and integral to the project led by RedBird, making a transfer financially and strategically complicated. Nevertheless, a switch cannot be ruled out entirely, especially if Napoli can present the lure of Champions League football to the player from Saint-Maurice. The prospect of competing at Europe’s highest level with the Azzurri might sway Rabiot’s decision, should negotiations gain traction.
For now, Rabiot remains fully committed to wearing Milan’s colors while the ongoing summer transfer window keeps the door open for developments that could alter the forward trajectory of his career. His form has been notably strong for France since the World Cup began, reinforcing the positive performance trend he carried from last season. During the previous campaign, he made 32 appearances, netted six goals, and provided five assists, underscoring his continuing influence in both club and national team duties.
The situation continues to evolve as Napoli, Allegri, and the Milan hierarchy weigh their options. While a move may be challenging given Rabiot’s importance to Milan and the broader project associated with Amorim and RedBird, the possibility of a late-summer twist remains on the table if the right engagements arise and if Napoli can offer a compelling sporting and competitive proposition. The saga surrounding a potential transfer is likely to extend through the summer, keeping fans and analysts attentive to every new development.
