Real Madrid consider only one midfielder as sellable; want at least €80 million – report

Real Madrid have already wrapped up two important midfield movements this summer, officially confirming Dani Ceballos’s exit and welcoming Bernardo Silva to the squad. Despite ongoing rumors linking several midfielders with a move away, Madrid has not completed any additional changes in that department.
According to a report from Ramon Alvarez (via Defensa Central), there remains only one midfielder who could depart before the transfer window closes: Eduardo Camavinga. Interest from Manchester United in Aurelien Tchouameni has reportedly intensified in recent days, but the report emphasizes that the French talent is not available. Instead, it suggests Camavinga is the lone midfielder currently on the market. That does not imply Real Madrid are prepared to entertain every offer; Camavinga is deemed sellable, but the club has placed a lofty asking price.
Real Madrid value Camavinga at around €80 million and would consider a transfer only if a substantial bid arrives. While the club believes their incoming transfer work is nearly complete, there is still a desire to secure one major sale that could bolster their finances and potentially pave the way for another marquee addition in the future. At this stage, Camavinga is viewed as the most likely candidate to depart. Despite inconsistent performances, Madrid has no intention of selling him for less than his assessed market value.
Manager Jose Mourinho is expected to speak directly with Camavinga to outline his plans for the upcoming season. Camavinga has expressed a desire to stay, and Mourinho has already given the green light for the club to explore a potential transfer if a suitable offer materializes. The new coach currently regards Camavinga as the last option in his midfield rotation and is prepared to proceed without him if the right opportunity arises.
Madrid secured Camavinga from Rennes in 2021 for roughly €31 million. Given the 23-year-old’s youth and considerable long-term potential, the club believes they are in a strong position to command a significant profit. For that reason, Real Madrid are targeting a fee near €80 million. Even with an offer matching Madrid’s valuation, the decision would still rest with the player, meaning his stance remains a decisive factor. As things stand, Camavinga’s determination introduces a level of uncertainty about a move, even if a fitting bid eventually arrives.
In summary, while Real Madrid have concluded their major summer signings and remain wary of additional inbound moves, they continue to manage expectations around exits. Camavinga stands as the principal option to leave, with the club prepared to negotiate a sale at the right price, and with the player’s own willingness to depart playing a crucial role in any potential transfer.
