Sports world reacts to Kentucky Football derailing the Lane Train and LSU

By admin — In News — October 11, 2026

The Kentucky Wildcats football program dropped out of the top 25 despite winning on the road in the SEC last week. The Cats left no doubt about whether or not they would be ranked this week as they derailed the Lane Train and sent LSU back home with a 35- 34 loss. And the sports world lit up with reactions to not only the game, but the gutsy play from Kenny Minchey, who called his own number in OT.Stein just told Tom Leach that the 2 point play to win the game was NOT a QB draw. Minchey just did it on his own. Wow !!!! @ESPNRadioLex— alan cutler (@cutler1300) October 11, 2026ESPN’s Pat McAfee was part of a LSU prediction sweep earlier on Saturday, as everyone on the set picked the Tigers. But Pat’s reaction after may make him think twice before picking agaisnt Stein again.WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS WIN FOR KENTUCKY— Pat McAfee (@PatMcAfeeShow) October 11, 2026Kentucky says, we’ll pay the fine.
