The Steelers were already thin at the wide receiver position with Michael Pittman Jr. on injured reserve. Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy did not have an update on either injury after the game. He headed to the Steelers locker room following the injury to get evaluated.Wilson, a third-year Michigan product, appeared to be holding his wrist after an 11-yard reception that was overturned before Chris Boswell nailed a 48-yard field goal to make it 17-13 with 21 seconds remaining in the first half. Wilson was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a hand injury. That was Wilson’s only target of the game to that point, with running back Jaylen Warren having taken a short pass 80 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, then tight end Pat Freiermuth reeled in a one-yard score in the second.Alan Saunders and Brendan Howe provided reporting from Pittsburgh.
