That victory was a memorable one for Syracuse, but it also came with a setback, as quarterback Steve Angeli tore his Achilles during the third quarter of that game. Now, Syracuse will look to make it two consecutive victories over Clemson when the two teams meet on November 7. The Orange have historically struggled against the Tigers, holding a 3-10 record in the all-time series. However, it has been another down year for Clemson and their offense has had their fair share of struggles, being the only FBS team with more points from their defense/special teams than their offense.CLEMSON – stat of the year contender🚨The only team whose D/ST is outscoring their Offense pic.twitter.com/49Yj3RFCAP— The Fourth Quarter (@4thQuarterCFB00) October 26, 2026With the win over North Carolina, if the Orange can pull off an upset this upcoming weekend against SMU, thoughts about possibly becoming bowl eligible could be back on the table. What are your thoughts about the back-to-back afternoon starts following the three night games?
