Ward officially joining Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy on the digital show.Acho and McCoy recently celebrated Speakeasy’s anniversary after pivoting to launch the show last September ahead of the 2025-26 NFL season, following sweeping changes at FS1 that cost them their timeslot. One year later, they’re getting a new cast member, with former Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward joining the show.“I’ve always had a lot of respect for Emmanuel and what he’s built with Speakeasy,” Ward said in the press release. “I am passionate about this game and honest about how I see it, so pulling up a chair next to Acho and Shady was an easy call. I’m excited to bring my voice and have some fun with the fans every week.”Ward played a key role in leading Denver to a Super Bowl 50 championship, recording an interception and recovering Cam Newton’s infamous fumble in the game. Now he’s building a successful second career in media.“We built Speakeasy to be the room where the real football conversations happen, and T.J.brings something you can’t teach,” Acho added in the announcement. “He played safety in one of the greatest defenses this league has ever seen, so when he breaks down a game, he is seeing things the rest of us miss. Our chat lights up every time he is on, and we wanted to make him an official Speakeasy cast member.”In the last year, Acho and McCoy quickly built Speakeasy into a notable digital sports show, regularly making news with their viral takes. Speakeasy was built on Undisputed’s old YouTube channel. Acho has been criticized at times for benefiting from what Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless built, but it was ultimately a great business decision to take a YouTube channel that already had a loyal sports following on his way out from Fox.Speakeasy airs live on YouTube Sunday through Thursday at 11:15 p.m. ET and recently expanded with an afternoon pregame version of the show. The post T.J.
