Welterweights kick off festivities for UFC Vegas 124 inside the UFC
Apex, as Parsons (9-3, 1-0 UFC) locks horns with Souza (9-1, 1-0
UFC) at 170 pounds. Keith Peterson oversees the action. No glove
touch. Parsons opens with leg kicks, though he finds himself at a
serious height and reach disadvantage. The 6-foot-3 Souza pounds
away with his jab, occasionally paring it with an overhand left.
More leg kicks from Parsons. Souza circles into open space, steps
into a knee and turns back to his jab. Hard low kick from Souza.
Parsons fires off a one-two. Souza answers with one of his own,

where Ko (13-3, 2-1 UFC) takes on Turman (18-8, 3-6 UFC) at 170
