Which Broncos’ rookie draft pick has best chance to breakout in first season?

Good morning, Broncos Country! With training camp fast approaching, we’re finally nearing the end of the long, slow stretch of the offseason. Before you know it, training camp will wrap up and Week 1 will be kicking off. The moment is almost here.
In just a few weeks, we’ll get our first real look at the Denver Broncos’ 2026 rookie draft class, and there are several names who could emerge as clear boom candidates. Of their seven selections, which player has the best chance to deliver a breakout rookie season?
Round 3, Pick 66: Tyler Onyedim, DT, Texas A&M
Round 4, Pick 111: Kage Casey, OT, Boise State
Round 5, Pick 152: Justin Joly, TE, NC State
Round 7, Pick 246: Miles Scott, S, Illinois
Round 7, Pick 256: Dallen Bentley, TE, Utah
Round 7, Pick 257: Red Murdock, LB, Buffalo
For me, the competition narrows to two names: Jonah Coleman and Justin Joly. If I had to choose a single player who could break out, I’d lean toward Coleman. The Broncos’ backfield has the potential to diversify the offense, and if Coleman carves out a hot hand or injuries create opportunities, he could seize the breakout moment and become a standout rookie contributor.
Who do you think has the best chance to breakout this season as a rookie? Share your thoughts and let’s discuss which of these newcomers could become a catalyst for Denver’s 2026 campaign.
