That said, Jacobs’ legal situation is arguably the biggest question mark surrounding Green Bay as training camp begins.Talking about a serious topic and relating it to the results of a football team feels distasteful, but there is no denying it will be a huge loss for the Packers if Jacobs misses time, or ends up being released outright. Here’s hoping a resolution arrives soon.Can MarShawn Lloyd stay healthy?If Jacobs is out of the picture, it will be even more important Lloyd is finally able to stay healthy and make good on the tantalizing potential he supposedly possesses, which has become something of an urban legend at this point.Getting Lloyd on the field throughout camp would be a start. Then he needs to perform, not only as a runner, but also earn the trust of the coaching staff as a receiving back and pass protector if he wants to be more than just an early-down change of pace back.Is a Matthew Golden breakout coming?This may be tough to predict based on practice and limited preseason action alone. However, Golden will be drawing plenty of eyes ahead of his second season, as fans are hopeful of a breakout campaign.It is established at this point that Golden will be one of Green Bay’s “big three” at receiver, along with Christian Watson and Jayden Reed. He will have to earn every target he gets, with Tucker Kraft also commanding plenty of passes his way.If Jordan Love is hooking up with Golden early and often, it will be an encouraging early sign for the former 1st round pick’s second season.Who steps up behind the “big three” at wide receiver?Beyond Watson, Reed and Golden, the rest of the wide receiver depth chart is undecided, as Savion Williams, Skyy Moore, Bo Melton and others will jostle for position.Williams would theoretically have the leg up as a former third-round pick. Mostly used as a gadget player as a rookie, he will need to show he has become more refined as a traditional receiver. Moore has experience but lacks size and is new to the offense.Then there is Melton, who has transitioned back to receiver after a stint as a cornerback in 2025. He is a favorite of the coaching staff and has produced when given opportunities on offense throughout his time in Green Bay. Let the battle commence.What is the tight end hierarchy?Kraft hopes to be back early in training camp, and his status as the top tight end and a key cog in the Packers offense is beyond reproach.
