   ​New York Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin is out for the season after being injured in his last game.Shesterkin was hurt during the second period on Friday, Oct. 9 while scrambling back into his net, his skate appearing to catch on the goalpost. His leg bent awkwardly. He immediately pounded the ice in pain and continued to lie on the ice as he was attended to by trainers.He needed considerable help from teammates and staff to get back to the bench and down the tunnel, appearing to put almost no weight on his right leg.Shesterkin had been off to a great start with a 3-1 record, a 1.79 goals-against and a .927 save percentage.
